Raised grid with cast iron grid on the Mini.
Thanks Tom, raised grid works great with cast iron grid. Still waiting on small pizza stones.
I need a little more seasoning on the cast iron.
First salmon on cast iron. Oiled well but still stuck a little.
Chicken breasts and a few thighs

Thanks for the pics on the mini. The food always looks great on the BGE. I should get my woo2 today for medium - will do some burgers tonight to test drive the woo2.
I'm in the process of lookng for a mini to go with my medium.
Any more comments on the woo2 for the mini? -
what is that gasket where did you get it ? thanks
-
Bill,
I have the mini and a new & improved mini woo2. It is great. Just get the 8.5" pizzas stones from Amazon for great indirect cooking and mini pizzas.... -
Thank you Anne,
The cast iron grates need a little more TLC before they will work. They were under 2' of salt water before I cut to fit the mini. I will have the CD in the mail for you in the morning from OKC.

I had to do the gasket. It fell off for the most part when I unpacked it from the factory box. The rest pulled off clean with a little tug.
Fun little grill.

Thank you.
I need to work on getting the beer in the photo...

Thank you.
The Mini is a fun little grill. The extra little space the Woo provides helps.
I would still think about the small egg over the mini unless you need a travel egg as your primary use. The small is so much easier to cook on.

What did you use to cut em with, jig saw, band saw with metal cutting blade or a cut off wheel or???
Thanks,
Bordello -
Thanks, appreciate your candor.
Just rec'd my woo2! -
I used a cut off wheel on a small angle grinder to cut the cast iron grate.
I made one for my small as well a year or so ago.
I started doing it with a band saw and the first cut was like butter and then it just went dead and would not cut. The angle grinder did a great job.

The gasket is a Rutland gasket.
Not what BGE would want you to use
but I have them on a few of my eggs
and they work great.
You can do a forum search for Rutland and
find out all the details or contact me on the side.
