PIZZA/Abita & King Arthur

Been awhile (too long, two weeks) since we made pizza. Finally made a few w/ some of the King Arthur Bread Flour & the SAF Red Instant Yeast. Getting better, playing around w/ some different rising's. This was out on the counter for about 10 hrs then in the frig over night till about 5:30 tonight. Mrs. FP put some Boar's Head Honey Maple Ham and the fresh moz; I had some of the BH pepperoni and shredded moz on mine. They both came out real nice.

Went by Publix and did a double take when I saw the Abita Strawberry. Had to try it and am sold on it. Very nice!!

A few weeks ago we placed an order w/ King Arthur and were highly impressed w/ the customer service. Ordered the flour, yeast, containers & a salt pig. Mrs. Food Police had to have it so we ordered. Everything was fine except the spoon for the pig was broken. Called and they shipped another that arrived in a few days but spoon broken again. Called again and explained the problem w/ the packaging of the spoon & we didn't another pig so they shipped another spoon after checking it out before shipping.

    I think I get it. When eating pizza, you have to have beer. Beer & pizza =lots of calories. To limit the calories you wash it down with diet soda. Right?

    Mrs. FP washes hers down w/ the Dr. Enuf.

    She says beer is nasty tasting and that's about what I think of the Dr. Enuf:laugh:

    Strawberry goes quite well with a few foods. Boiled crawfish is definetly one of them. Glad you like it.

    Pizza looks great, that high gluten flour makes for a fantastic flavor. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks Mike. I really like a handfull of beers but am willing to try just about anything once. If they keep it in stock, I'll keep buying it. I need to get me some crawfish, it's been too long.

    King Arthur has the best service I have seen. We have ordered stuff that arrived damaged. One call and the replacement was on the way. No complaints...tom
