So I been deadly sick all week and felt a little better
and went to bbq galore to make fun of the BGE
but in my weakened state those guys sold me the
large, a nest, a slide-daisy wheel some ash tool thing
and some lump. They took advantage of me, all I wanted
was to just go in there and see how goofy they look again,
make a couple of bad jokes about them and leave. My
fever must have spiked again and I was delusional is all
I can figure. I tried to put it together but he has
stuff missing. Like the band around the dome that
holds the hinges to open it I Guess and the dome
doesnt even have a hole in it to put the thermometer,
Oh yeah they hit me up for that too. I called the
guy and the other one they have is the same way
but he told me they get some in Monday and I can excange
it. So now I gotta haul his fat *** back and get a
new one.:-) No but really I did get that stuff today
and am a little bummed I gotta take it back and exchange it
but I am sick so I wouldnt of used it till I get
better anyway.

    If your missing the bands that hold the lid, insist on the auto lock set. When I bought mine, my second, it did not come with them, and only recently did I replace with the auto lock set.
    After a couple cookings on the fat**** you'll never look back!

    Q.N.E. tyme,[p]I would urge you to call BGE and talk to them about the thermometer hole. I woulbn't lug that back for that - just drill it yourself, but talk to BGE first. The bands, can't help but if the hinge is there the band is too. I would get the auto-lock for sure. [p]Welcome to the Egg family. You can glue tiles on yours if you like and if it makes you happier.

    They'll take care of your problems.
    It scares me to try and comprehend some of your BGE cooking results. When someone who already cooks some serious Q, then gets cut loose with an egg...you can't help but think of the possibilities!! Hope you get better quickly.
