I have read a few posts over the last few weeks regarding Pineapple Head rub. You may already know this, but thought I would pass along an email I rec'd today from DIZZY PIG regarding Pineapple:
We have not yet officially launched Pineapple Head -- a rub for grilling
fruit, especially pineapple, that Chris has in the works. Our labels are
being printed as we speak and Pineapple Head should be launched in about a
month.
But, we do have some bottled without official labels. If you wish to give
it a try, go ahead and place an order for any bottle of rub and in the
"comments" section, write "substitute Pineapple Head for" whatever rub you
added.
Also, FieroGuy asked for an updated on me - so here is where I am at! I rec'd my Thermopen yesterday via UPS ($69 smackers) - And I placed an order for the 10 pack of DIZZY PIG RUBS yesterday - should be here early next week! Just waiting on my egg - I decided to listen to this forum and buy a large from a reputable dealer! The larges should be in around April 5 - so one week until SHOW TIME! I am being patient! BUT - I do visit this site every day! Just dont post much! this next week is the calm before the storm! Get ready for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in Ocala last weekend and it is awesome. I grilled some pineapple and dust with it and it was stellar. I cut-up some of the finished product and ate it with some vanilla ice cream.
