for a Large egg! $599
I found a dealer willing to give me 20% off and sell me the egg for this price. I was going for the medium ($450) but this site talked me into the large!
I just found out about the egg and I am realizing this is kinda like a cult following! I think Im about to get involved with a life changing product! Im excited!

Wow!
Buy! -
you will eventually buy two anyways and a large medium combo may just be the ticket. you will be much happier with the large if its your only onefukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
-
does that come with the nest? If not your gonna have to buy a nest for it or build a table. If it comes with the nest I say go for it.
-
Does that price include a nest? If it doesn't, I would highly recommend one unless your going to eventually put the Egg in a table. The nest for a large runs around $75 - $80.
-
Buy it before they change their mind!
-
This price does not include the next! Only the egg!
My next question was going to be:
Should I buy a nest or table! Seems like many of you end up upgrading to table after a year or two of owning a nest! I want to do it right the first time!
My only issue with a table is the pain of staining it every few years! I think I would like a table and it would look pretty good on my deck over looking the lake!
Thanks again! -
Yes it's a good price. You probably wont find it any cheaper.
-
I built a table, never had a nest so I can't compare. If you go with the nest, always pull the egg, never push it. If a wheel hits a rock and goes to flip while pushing it you can't stop it. We have seen pictures on here of broken eggs that were pushed.

I highly suggest you buy that large egg for $599.00. I just bought mine for $700 and I had to talk the dealer down from $750. I built a table for mine right away. If you are handy with wood it is your best bet.
You can build a lot nicer table than you can buy for about half the cost. I got the plans for mine from nakedwhiz.com. Here is the link to the plans.

These are very good directions to get you started. I made a few minor changes as I'm sure you would too. I was able to get a piece of granite for free from a local granite countertop contractor. They have to go somewhere with the piece that is cut out for the sink. If you have any questions on this build let me know and I will give you any advice I can.

You have no idea how much! I like the nest with the mate tables. -RP
-
Nest or table is a matter of personal preference. I have two large Eggs on a rather small deck and the nests don't take up any room. The nests are more mobile because of their size too. The side tables provide plenty of space and I can move my Eggs anywhere I want.

Life changing like spending $1000 to fly to Atlanta for a long weekend to cook food for other people? :woohoo:
-
Last year it was a little more than Atlanta. It was also Ocala, Oklhoma, Waldorf, Osweego, Denver, and Tempe. -RP

Nobody likes oneupsmanship Randy. :P

you use the word site let alone tell us a very good to almost unbelieveable price...is this an internet site by chance? No warranty with those and saving a few bucks now isn't worth it in the long haul.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

Love this table yates - may be touch with you about plana and building! Thanks

Nice catch Ron. I missed that, but I think he may have meant us; Eggheadforum.com

When I referred to 'this site' I meant - this site EGGHEADFORUM talked me into going with the large egg
This is a local dealer that also is an appliance store! I think they are hurting with the economy and may even be going under! He told me they pay $411 for the Medium and would sell to me for $450 plus tax! $600 for a large
Thanks -
I think he means the forum talked him into a large....
