Hello everyone. It's been awhile..
I've been reading a little about the 4-1-1 method for beef back ribs. Sure sounds and looks good. Anyone have any other ideas, suggestions or improvements to this recipe?
Thanks in advance.

ive never foiled beef ribs but if i were to, make sure the meat side is down when they are foiled so the meat braises in the juice. might go longer in the foil as sometimes beef ribs can be fatty and you want that to drip out, look at them after an hour and go longer if they need it.fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

I am not sure if I would even foil beef ribs, there is a lot of fat that ends up in the drip pan during the cook.
I cooked raised grid with a drip pan on an inverted spider bone down. Came out fantastic.

Good idea about too much fat in foil. Thanks for your suggestions. I'll probably just skip the foil stage.

i just hold 235 degrees at the grate and cook til done, sometimes this cook takes forever, beef ribs arent to uniform from rack to rack, make sure there is plenty of meat when picking out the rack. pretty much impossible to get that membrane off the back as well, always end up eating around the stuff i couldnt get offfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
