I was down to about 12 bags of Royal Oak so I decided to buy more. Only twenty 20lb bags this time at $8.40 each, Restaurant Depot in Atlanta. Oh yeah, Made in USA.

Just about filled the truck...

I just stopped by my local Walmart and they still don't have any. Not since just after Hurricane Ike. I guess I'll have to keep using Kroger brand. It's good so I'm not worried. Or I could always drop by your place LOL...

That is so not fair you can get those large bags. Our Walmart has started stocking BBQ stuff (not sure why summer's 4 months away and it's -4 out) No lump yet tho.

Do you have FireKing or Ozark Oak available? I like those better than Royal Oak and they are both made in Missouri.

Ozark Oak is from Pyatt (Yellville) Arkansas. Close, but not Missouri (about 40 minutes south of the line).

Do you have a spare room to sleep in overnight? Have to get away from this snow ice mix here in Maryland.Just might take a short trip where it is warmer and pick up some of that stuff.The Rest. Depot up here wants $9.90 per 20 lb. bag.Someone has to pay for the shipping charges.

Looks like they raised the price again. I bought 20# bags at $5.99 this summer, $6.99 in October, and $7.99 last month.

You seem to burn through it more quickly than I do!

Five months into my first LBGE, and I'm burning through an average of 30 pounds of lump per month so far, just cooking for the family, 2.5 of us (I count the three year old as a half, and the 5-month old does not eat off the grill yet... but soon enough!)

I just placed my order for 3 more 20 lb bags of Royal Oak.

We have to order it online on the Left Coast - I have not found anyone who carries Royal Oak in stock around these parts.

I was up in Crescent City California and found some Royal Oak at there wal mart. I bought two bags and checked them home on my flight to Monterey. The Gate agent looked at me like I was crazy.........some people just don't get it

. The bags were not lost and made it in great shape!

One local Wallyworld is out of Royal Oak (I got the last two bags).

I found another that still has a pallet of it, 10# bags of the American made for $6.37. The dept. manager told me that it would be stocked again now that the floor space used for Christmas decorations is freed up.

Had to buy some lump...
