Thanksgiving for the Books!

How thankful I am for my wife who, at 10:30 this morning, put about 2 bushels of potato peels down the garbage disposal, with obviously, just a few tablespoons of water.
The result: everything from the kitchen sink to the laundry room is backed up, locked down,...tight as a jug.
How thankful I am for my builder's plumbers who, in their infinite wisdom, or incompetence, glued the cap to the cleanout under the sink.
The result: no kitchen sink on Thanksgiving with 15 due for dinner in about an hour.
How thankful I am for all of you to whom I can vent these eventful moments. At least there is the Egg. and it's preforming beautifully.
The result: A Happy Thanksgiving to all. Pics to follow.

Oh Mike! I'm sorry but I was on the phone to Pat the Poolman Taylor and we had a nice laugh.

Not yet. At least the toilets are on the downhill side of the clog. :laugh: I'm about to take my second shower to see if that holds true.
The hams and turkey are going to be killer, though.

Was talking with CWM when he mentioned the post so had to call my Wife in to read as we had some similar problems a few months ago and we are both still laughing. Hope it all works out for you. I heard the port-a lets are not that expensive :P :P .

My son used to live in Houston and we gathered there for
Thanksgiving dinner. It was not bad that we had to call roto rooter after plugging up the disposal unit with potato peelings, it was bad when we did the same thing the following year...tom -
