Mine would be my bicycle. I don't know what brand it was (possibly Schwinn) but it had a checkered flag banana seat, a "slick" back tire and "StingRay" written on the chain guard.
I had it for 10+ years before some SOB stole it when I brought it to college. -
Ohhhh that was ugly!!! :woohoo:
-
The Big Green Egg?
-
Schwinn did make the stingray, my friend down the street had one with the banana seat and slick rear tire.

Duncan Yo Yo with a Filipino instructor.Just last month I was sorting out the Duncan patches that I had won as a pre teen.Just might have to check them out on E Bay and see if they might be a collectors item.Kind of telling my age here because this was back in around 1945/46 era.Walking the dog was my favorite trick but sometimes if you were not careful throwing it between your legs you would have a occasional ouch factor.

I loved my pt trainer also.

Got to go with the Bike. I had a rare childhood disease and had to wear a brace on my left leg for 2 years. Just like the ones that Forest Gump had. I had just learned to ride a bike when I had to start wearing the brace. I was 6 years old, 1967. Parents said when I was cleared by the doctor I could have a new bike! It was the very next day. Went to the Toy Castle and picked her out.

Wish it was all that simple now! LOL -
i have a toy i have had since the day i was born. i discovered it early but never really understood it or played with it all the time until i was 12 or 13.
another kid at camp should me how to play with it.
in college, my girlfriend and i played with it all the time, when i first got married, before kids, we played often. now less so.
it's getting old, but the more you use it, the more character it has.
i still play with it every now and then. probably shouldn't post the picture, but i bet half the folks here have one anyway.
it can be a little hard, and it seems that even though many folks have one, most still don't really understand it

Queens Pawn 2 to Queens Pawn 4.

Slinky!!

i wrote the notation once for fool's mate and you dinnit even know what i was talking about.
google can't save you on this one.
if you really wanna play someone, play my son. he beat me via email at the age of four. game took eight hours.
of course, either he's really good, or i'm really bad.
little of both i beted egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
did it look like this
http://www.firstflightbikes.com/_borders/73lemon.JPG
i think the green was a pea picker, i had the yellow lemon peeler, great first bike. best thing i ever got was an old fishing reel, it sits on the shelf now with a hundred or so other ones, and i still take it out and fish with it from time to timefukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
Actually I didn't see your notation for fools mate. I don't need to Google chess moves. I have been playing since I was 14, though I haven't played in years.
If you really want to get technical I moved the wrong pawn for fool's mate.
King's Pawn 2 to King's Pawn 4. The pawn I moved could allow my King to escape a fool's mate. -
good grief....
i didn't say your opening was the first move for fool's mate.
i once posted the notation, and you made a comment about "what the heck is that" or some such.
i used actual chess notation... wouldn't think you'd say "queen's pawn" unless this were an english gentleman's club ca. 1932...."ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
Ahhh yes I do remember that.
I knew what it was, but if I remember right I joked about you speaking in tongues or some such..
Now go back to your corner and play with what you were really referring too... -
ever notice how, somehow always after the fact, you say you "got" whatever it was?
awfully convenient....
hahahaed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
OK from now on I am going to notate any post to you where you have made some obscure reference that I know.
-
we're all on tenterhooks....ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante
-
More painful then hold your breath that is for sure...
hooks used to hold wool to a tenter frame -
"than" to hold your breath. not "then".
you seem to make that mistake fairly often (was it yesterday, or even maybe this morning i saw one?). may want to put a post-it note on your monitor.
heh heh heh
alright, alright, truce.
i can't sit around here correcting you all day. i'd never get anything done!ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante
