  • IMHO pork butt is juicy and succulent on its own I believe the same thing goes for injecting butt not really needed.

  • I agree, however I injected one with pinapple juice, worsteshire, maple syrup, bourbon and some spices and it was the best I ever had... Sooo I will inject again and again, unless I forget and I am sure that will be good too.

    I did once, didn't come out hammy, but I didn't notice a better flavor, either... not worth the time and trouble IMO
