Pulled out some rib eyes and taters for the family last night. Steaks had Dizzy Pig Cowlick and taters with all the good stuff. First time doing taters on the Egg and they were great, loved the skin and first time using Cowlick on the steaks and they were awesome.
Tonight we will start emptying the freezers and cooking in case Gustov makes a visit, just another excuse the fire up the Egg. If you ever had to empty two freezers and two refrigerators after losing power for three weeks you would understand

Looks great! Our son was living in FL for Charlie. he had just cut and froze a black tip shark he had caught two days before. he ate and ate till he was sick of it when the power went. he is back in Maine now and misses the fishing but not the wild weather.

We suffer through the occasional storm but New Orleans is a great place to live. How was the black tip, we often catch them when we are offshore.

Good looking cook. I don't want baked potatoes cooked anywhere but the BGE. The skin really picks up a nice flavor.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

Jimmy,
Hope you guys are spared from the storm. My sister is just west of you on I-10 in Lafayette. Drop me a line if you'll be heading over to your brother-in-law here in TX.
The meal looks great, by the way
Take care, -
If you get to Lafayette try a little restaurant called Edie's. I think it is only open for lunch but it is great cooking.
