My first Green Egg arrived today, assembled and delivered free. But, the manual states that instructions for calibrating the temperature gauge is loated inside the packaging and of course, that did not come with an assembled unit. Please let me know how to do it. Thanks,

Put the stem in a pot of boiling water. Grab the dial face and use a 7/16" wrench on the nut, turn the face until it reads the boiling point of water at your altitude.

http://wunderground.com will give you the altitude and barometric pressure reading if you are anal enough to get it precise. Just put in your zip code.
