I have never tried fish on the egg. Has anyone got a good recipe for tilapia? grouper? Do you cook direct? raised grid? I would appreciate any and all help.

here's some snapper with grilled mango. done direct.
the recipe was something i googled. make sure to marinate the mango in the viniagrette, or it will turn a pallid brown instead of staying bright while being grilled

here's some planked salmon. soak the plank, plank goes direct at anout 400/450. it'll smoke toward the end, which is just enough, with cedar.
and i think these are direct-grilled halibut. take all the fish to about 140/145 internal

Here is a salmon filet with herb paste that I had posted here a few weeks ago. This is a variant of a recipe I found in the Recipe section of the Forum, here.
I made an herb paste out of yogurt, fresh oregano and thyme, garlic powder, black pepper, kosher salt, lemon juice, and a shallot. I spread this on the salmon about 2 hours before cooking to marinate.
I set up the egg for direct cooking, added some alderwood chips, and got the dome temp to 300 degrees. Cooked for 1/2 hour. Came out fantastic.
Detailed recipe posted on our blog, http://www.fearlesskitchen.com/2008/06/recipe-smokey-s.html
Enjoy!

You can also smoke mullet, trout, and other fish, indirect.

Did tuna steaks last night! sprinkled with rub and cooked at 400 for 3 1/2 minutes per side. They were awesome!
Walleye, cod, talipa, etc. I place on tin foil. Spray the foil with Pam, poke holes every 2" in the foil.
Use your prefered fish coating and cook 12-18 minutes at 400 without turning.
