Eggs at Whole Foods Saturday!

Woohooo! I didn't think they'd go for it, but I kept nagging them. Looks like I got the go-ahead to bring the eggs to the store and demo dizzy out in front of the store. Whole bunch better than a frying pan and a hot plate. Hopefully we'll be all fired up by noon. Stop on by if you are in the area. Whole Foods Fair Lakes Virginia.

Also thanks all for your responses to my post the other day. Running like crazy and I didn't have time to respond to all the responses, but each response meant a lot to me!

    That's a huge break. Should give you a chance to really let those rubs shine through.

    Congrats again on your huge accomplishment.

    As a side note, have you approached the BBQ Galore folks? I was speaking to the manager of a local store about carrying your stuff and he said all new products go through corp HQ, but that they were always looking at new products - especially in the rubs and sauces area.

    Just a thought.

    Man, sounds like a fast paced demo. You gonna get with the store management and see what the in-store specials are. Nothing better than soft selling an in store special and with a a bottle of rub.....

    I just asked the manager at Whole foods Annapolis if they would be carrying the Dizzy Pig Spice line that I'd seen in stores in Va. This store will be expanding into much larger space in a couple months. he wrote down the info and said he'd look into it. He also commented that this store does well on BBQ vrelated stuff.

    I have talked to the local dealer about carrying more stuff like rubs, etc. They probably will after they move to a new location. Their current landlord won't let them fire the Eggs up in front of the strip mall that they are in.

    Good going Chris. Any stores that don't want a free demo this time of year are crazy. We pulled 10-20 slabs of ribs off at 5:30pm every Friday night, how long do you think they lasted? Didn't even know about DP then. :woohoo:

    Saturday approaches quickly and I know you are incredibly busy - but (is that with one t or two on this board) let me add to the other congratulations you have received. I am new to the egg and this board, but after reading all the talk about DP products, ordered some. They are truly, as Alton would say, "Good Eats".
