btw we are making Bloody Mary's in the AM...LOL

and Nutella Quesadillas for tomoorow nights dessert...it should be a good day... :P

I've not had a lot of luck preparing Lucky Charms on the egg, but other than that everything else turns out real good.

Salmon will grow on you, especially when you really hit a good one. Go to the Fresh Market on PIB in Suwanee and get fresh line caught King salmon and you'll never want that farm raised stuff again.

I was in Seattle last week and had Copper River King from the first day of the season. I know the marketing BS that surrounds it, but this stuff was like buttah - unbelievable. I would love to get my hands on that stuff (for a reasonable price) and egg it to see what happens.

You guys made me crave salmon tonight too. Sooo, I've fired up the new MINI.....it has a chemical smell right now....gonna let it burn off ...hopefully. But I got my salmon all sliced, rubbed with olive oil, sprinkled with shakin the tree, and some lemon slices with white onion on top. We'll see. pics to follow.

Those are some nice BG, but I got to ask, how do they compare to floured and cooked in grease until crispy? -RP

There are just a few things that God intended to be fried, not that they can't be done other ways, but fried is the ultimate. Like wings, fries, blue gill. calimari, etc. -RP

    Terry,

I used the recipe that you posted, well sort of. I cooked the salmon on a Alder plank. I cooked it indirect w a platesetter at 400 degrees for 40 minutes....it really was good...and very flaky

the marinade was soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, honey, br sugar and red wine....it was a good marinade & sauce...

    we will do it again...

tomorrow I will cook a beef brisket flat.... :cheer:

    after a trip to RD...
