WOW is all I can say on how things turned out. Did the Bacon wrapped tots, crock potted flat irons, corn on the cob and sauteed green beans with red onions, garlic and toasted slivered almonds. Also deglazed the pan with lemon juice!!! The crock pot held the temp right at 105 so it was perfect. Lket them sit for about an hour and a half before cooking them to 135 internal. It was funny when I CHEATED with my Egg. It was on about 550 when I put the steaks on and I wanted it even hotter. I REDNECKORIZED the grill LOL SHOULD have taken a pic but didn't. I took my leaf blower and put it on the intake at the bottom and with the lid down I had flames blairing outta the top on my egg about 2 FEET LOL The temp was around 800-850 before I moved the blower LOL Oh and IF you have any ideas of stuffing the tots, It doesn't work. Had cream cheese and ground up Jalapeno's and green onions ready with a piping bag. They just fell apart. Only other thing I notied was that SOME of the bacon came off the tots so I'll tooth;pik them next time. Overall this was one of my better meals on the egg!!!

Do not inject the tater tots....here is what I have done ..

mix up the softened cream cheese, chopped jalapenos & gr onions

roll the FROZEN tater tot in the cream cheese mixture or smear it on with a spoon or if no one is looking use your finger... :woohoo:

put the smeared tots back in the fridge...this gets the cream cheese mixture hard while the tater tots thaw out...how does it know???????

in about 30 minutes you can wrap the tots in maple bacon and skewer with a tooth pick

another tip is to take your bacon out of the fridge for the same 30 minutes and let it get "stretchy" then when you wrap the tots with bacon you really do not need a toothpick

use a drip pan when cooking the tots....

I tried them in the crock pot instead of the hot tub this time. Seem people doing it on here(HOT TUBBIN)and when I did that it worked like you wouldn't believe. Well, I only turn my hot tub on, on the weekends to save enegery so I figured I'd try the corck pot and it was perfect. 100-105!!

cheaper to keep that thing running with a cover on it than to reheat it from cold, probably.

anyway. i don't actually use a hot tub. hahaha

that was a joke from a dude that tried his hoit tub, but you can just use regular tap water. mine's around 140. steak hits the grill around 110 internal

We tested the leave it on theory. Our power bill went up 40 bucks. Went back to the only on the weekends thing and went back down

Is yours wired 110 or 220? Mine is 220 and the cost to run and heat it is negligible. Takes more to re-heat it than to just keep it hot.
