Trying to see if I'm one of the lucky ones. I have waited to try and let bugs get worked out. I put marble tile on my egg. It looks like a fancy bathroom counter top. Now to replace gasket (what is left). Love T-Rex steaks. Do I need adhesive remover? Will it be alright to loosen bolts a little and then retighten? I want to realiign bands.
Is there another gasket material? Just saw a post about Nomad? I have been egging with the gasket virtually gone for awhile. Still does great job but thinking of putting new gasket on with new marble tile. I am going to take picture and try to post when stepson gets here to help me figure out how. He says he can do it.
Looking forward to using new forum. Hope I'm here.

the nomex gasket is great. i have tried to burn one up and could not do it. but if you will give BGE a call in atlanta they can ship one to you. i know there are several dealers out there that may not have it yet.

yea i have always used them they are about 1.5 hour away but well worht tha drive everytime.. but get them to ship you one unless you live in tucker
