I have seen posts for using a battery starter to power the guru. My question is: Does it have enough storage to do an overnight cook? Thanks....tom

 Probably do about a week before you have to start

I agree with smokinsop - the Guru consumes very little amperage and even then it's a mere trickle - nothing like a hit and drain that the charger was designed for.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

I have the Stoker and when I go camping the jumpstarter works great I usually do 3 overnighters on one charge with no problem.

Thank you all. Will cut the umblical cord as soon as I can....tom
