Dutch Oven cooking on the BGE

Hello & Merry Christmas Everyone[p]I am a newbie and looking to see - HOW - to use the BGE & a Dutch oven. I'm sure there are some recipes out there - I'm curious if coals are added on top (?) - Is the Lid is Closed - ? & what temp ranges-(?). I did do a BGE google search from the Archives of this forum. I guess searching topics withing the archives is quite difficult unless you read each one. I would appreciate it if anyone of you has some WEBLINKS on this or some personal eggsperience using a Dutch Oven on the BGE. [p]Thanking each of you in Advance.[p]GrillCrazy

Easiest way is to just set your dutch oven on your grate and cook away. You don't need the lid because the dome to your egg will ack as one. Just get your egg to what temp you wanted to cook. Hope this helps.

I generally use mine without the lid and temps about 350 dome.[p]This is chicken and dumplings ala Elder Ward. It came out very well
