    <p />FatDog,
take a sausage log, like bob evans or jimmy dean and roll it in a dry rub of your choice, then smoke it at 250 dome till 170 internal. cool and slice. i heated these slices up in the skillet[p]14jun07-013.jpg

    Rick's Tropical Delight,
Bays has a recipe contest on their website. I won free muffens last year for my 'hodag cookies'.[p]Your McFatty has a high droool factor, a sure winner.[p]

    Rick's Tropical Delight,[p]
Dude, another great cooking![p]If you don't stop, I'm going to move down there, target new home - as close to you as possible![p]How about you hosting an Eggfest?[p]You know, that's an idea, like that BBQU show, why don't you put together a 'EGG-University'. The entry fee could go towards discounting and the use of eggs from the local dealer. Or, another idea - do it a couple days before an actual Eggfest. After the U, the eggs go to the Eggfest..[p]Then you can make a DVD...

So you had me wondering, how would that be with a sharp cheddar stuffed fattie and fresh grated parmesan-reggiano?[p]Absolutely delicious. [p]Great idea again Rick!

  • Jeeves,
i'm addicted to dizzy pig rubs... not sure what all they put in there, but dang, i can't stop with them.[p]for fatties? i use jamaican firewalk or swamp venom or...

  • Jeeves,
ok... ok... i'll stop! hahaa[p]the fatty was the only thing done on the egg. the rest was toaster and stovetop.[p]there will be an eggfest here sometime in the future and it'll be called "eggstock" and dhuffjr will do all the work! hahaa[p]marthashouse.jpg[p]i really have no idea what i'm doing, ya know. i just make it up as i go and learn from all the others on here.

  • ClayQ,

Rick's Tropical Delight,[p]Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery my friend.[p]I did the fatties last night, and I was sitting here wondering, what do I do with these things?[p]Again, wonderful idea - you have yet again inspired me to try something I never would have thought of on my own.[p]On a side note, I usually use fatties to make breakfast burritos throughout the week. Chop them up, add some scrambled egg, shredded cheese, salsa, and roll in a tortilla. It really is a great breakfast to devour on the way to the office.
  • dhuffjr,
true[p]is that eeyore and piglet on yer toaster?

  • dhuffjrdhuffjr Posts: 3,182
    Rick's Tropical Delight,
Yep.[p]Makes Pooh's face on one side and the other one does Tigger on the toast......or muffins.[p]Angela's cousin was supposed to get us a mickey mouse toaster (her husband does sales for some kitchen product place) and I think her aunt pimped it for her kid so we ended up with the Pooh one.

  • dhuffjr,
hahahaha! you have to post a photo of that toast
