Grill Extender

How much room is there between the grills when using the extender? Is there enough to get two Boston butts on the first? Planning to do three butts in the near future.[p]Thanks

Don,
I have done three butts using the grill extender. However, common sensically, the larger the butts, the tighter the fit. I did three 9-10 pounders at one time on my large last month and there was not a whole lot of extra room. They were all done and with very good texture and flavor, but the was not any bark where the butts were touching each other.[p]Chipper

You can fit 3 eight pounders on one grid if you want.
