Hi,
I don't have a "v' rack, can I do my 12 lb. turkey on the grill over a drip pan sitting on an inverted plate setter???? Breast up or down???? Thanks.

That set up will work fine...I always cook mine breast side up.

New Bob,[p]Sure, that will work just fine - used that rig a few times. There is nothing special about the V rack, anything to hold it will work. [p]Tim

New Bob, I do mine with the same set-up, breast up. Trussing the bird helps make it cook more evenly. JCA

I also put aluminum foil wraps on the wing tips and drum ends when they start to brown.
