Picnic ham and turkey

A friend is having a little party tomorrow. Need to do a small turkey and a fresh picnic ham.
Best to do the ham low/slow overnight then put the bird on since it won't take but a few hours OR do the turkey this evening, then add some fresh lump to do the ham?
Also, time/temps on the ham?
