We have a medium egg, when the dome temperature reads 300.F. what would the grate temperature be? On average would it be approx. 25 to 30 degree's different? Thanks for your answer, we are doing our first fattie and cooking at 250.F Willie

Willie,[p] For that fattie you want the DOME to be 250. Even on the medium that will put the grate at about 230 or so.[p]Please note: Unless otherwise stated all temps on this forum refer to DOME temp anyway.
