BGE in the rain

Unknown
edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
I've read that the egg itself won't be troubled by rain, but here in Florida we have some pretty serious afternoon storms -- and fortunately they're happening almost daily again (we need the rain badly). When not in use, my BGE is under the vinyl cover, but it isn't under a roof.[p]So far I've been lucky, but I'm concerned about water getting into the egg through the iron ventilation cap.[p]Does anybody have a strategy for dealing with rain?[p]
