Finally Open and 18 hour days 4 pictures

It's been a while since I posted. I've been busy opening a BBQ restaurant. I forgot how hard it is to work 18 hour days at the age of 52. I got her open finally. Wish me luck. The restaurant business is not easy. I'm proud of what we've built. It was the BGE that got me interested in BBQ over 12 years ago. Thanks, Tom

It is in Columbus Indiana. It is 35 miles south of Indianapolis. I have smoked over 200 buuts, 40 briskets and can't count the number of leg quarters in the last few days. I will take pictures of the food and the smoker next week. My partner and pit master is minding the store while I make a visit home. Thanks for the interest, Tom

Oh, yum, I LOVE the cheesecake factory. I only discovered it about 4 or 5 years ago and can't get enough. One of my faves is the sliders. I also really love that brown bread they bring to the table. I've never actually had any cheesecake there - always too full from the meal![p]Have fun,

i like the sliders, but i'm partial to the avocado egg rolls, the calamari and/or the bruchetta. ..[p]they also make a mean milkshake there, and as for the cheesecake, i like the original, the banana, and boston cream .. .. yumm!!! ..[p]but whats with all that damn brocoli they serve with the main entres?!?!?!

Tom; Good luck with your new place. Blues and BBQ are a perfect fit, especially for this BBQ'n Chicago Blues fan.
My wife has 2 Nieces in Columbus ( and I once got into trouble when I flew into their airport with an old chart not knowing that it was now a tower controlled field
"N110LF call the tower after landing") ooops. I'll make sure the nieces stop by soon, next trip we make I'll be there too!!!

hey have you tried Fresh Air BBQ down in Flovilla?[p]It is on hwy 23/42 and b-4 I even liked BBQ I liked this place. Gots a sawdust floor and bldg is rickidy...but it is damn good.[p]Try Jim & Nicks in conyers also...not a bad meal a little pricey though...course it's hard to b the EGGed food[p]Jan

I like the chocolate moose cake, they have changed some items and added asparagus and mushrooms, not two of my favorite items. I did build the restaurants for about 2 years, I know the insides and out of about 12 of them
