<p />After only a couple weeks of owning an Egg I took the plunge and attempted my first overnight cook, a couple of ~7.5 lb. Boston butts. I stuck pretty close to the Elder Ward method including his Piedmont style sauce, and with the advice I picked up here, everything turned out great. The guests raved about the pulled pork which practically disintegrated (in a good way) when touched.
I used a Stoker for the temp control. I had to speed things up just a bit at the end, as you can see in the attached log screenshot. That screenshot is from Amir Majidimehr's StokerLog program which is already excellent and is being updated practically daily.[p]520807553_c3a4d92375_o.jpg
