Deck/Grill Storage box/unit

Does anyone have any recommendations for an outdoor storage unit for grilling tools/accessories that is NOT the BGE brand?  I'm looking specifically to find a place to store my plate setter and the EGGspander rack for an XL BGE.  The diameter of the biggest piece is almost exactly 24" and finding a cabinet that's not a plastic Rubbermaid bin has been challenging.  Ultimately, I'd like a cart/rack/bin that has a work surface, a cabinet for the aforementioned accessories and maybe a shelf or two. Here's an example of what I'm looking for, the cabinet portion is just not deep enough...

I have had my eye on this one for a while.  I want to put my Weber Q on top, large propane bottle underneath plus other stuff.  If you pull the trigger would love to hear about it.

I just added this to my deck to store my outdoor cooking stuff in. I also have that table you linked. The stainless top is great to sit hot items on. Storage underneath is insufficient for me

Usually doesn’t have flowers on it but this is the best purchase I’ve ever made. Holds everything I have for my mbge and primo xl. Including two bags of charcoal and 8 different types of smoking wood chunks. Goes on sale at Canadian tire for a great price. ($300) off I believe.

Does it come with the Winnie the Pooh doll?  Because if it does, I'm all in.

I just have a big old plastic (water tight) bin by the BGE, and I store all my charcoal, pellets, wood chunks, cedar boards, BBQ stuff in.  It holds like 10 bags of charcoal ... probably 5' wide x 3' deep x 3' high.

I looked at ss tables with the exact same design and they costed $1500 roughly. Seen this and picked it up on a little sale, after a month it went on sale for I think $300 less, I was pissed lol.

Lol unfortunately it doesn’t, my wife told me I had to make sure the Winnie the Pooh doll and the bear doll had to be on the deck somewhere. So I tucked them in the corner.

I hear about Canadian Tire time to time. Is that like our Harbor Freight? I can't imagine a tire place selling the type of stuff people say that got from Canadian Tire.

It’s somewhat similar, although I would characterize Canadian Tire as having a much wider array of products. Sporting goods, lawn care products, tires (as the name would imply), etc. Having spent quite a bit of time and money at Canadian Tire over the years, my advice would be as follows: Wait for the sale. Always. Things like an electric impact wrench that is $149.99 regular dip down to $49.99 at times. You never want to pay full price at CT. And if you do, you’re the reason they’re such an institution in the GWN.

Sounds like a place I would most certainly shop at.  It's one of those stores where when someone buys something from there they are compelled to name the store.

It’s a big store with a decent reputation, our harbor freight would be considered princess auto. Good store and good prices but I guess the products are garbage. I love both stores.

I have a cabinet that looks like it came from the same factory.
It comes in a flatpack and there are LOTS of screws that attach into rivet nuts.
Assembly was fairly easy and everything lined up perfectly - just LOTS of screwing. Once assembled though it is a very solid cabinet.

Ya I would agree with this. Takes a little bit of time to build but it’s solid and the instruction are easy to follow.

You forgot to mention that they are printing their own money.

"You forgot to mention that they are printing their own money"

Oh man. The guy I used to buy drugs from was printing his own money too. Umm .. my guys money was WAY WAY more sophisticated than your guys money...  like ..    pfffffttt .. not even friggen .. CLOSE. There's like ... OUR money (he says ... waving his hands above his head) which was printed as perect hundreds ... then right under that (he says ...  waving his hands around his waist) there's mass produced monopoly money with the guy in the top hat ... that had that weird victorian era porn mustache .. all printed in various denominations in 3/4 scale .. in a bizarrely pastel color pallet.. and then there's that damned CT money ( he says, waving his hands around his knees) printed for like ten cents each ..  and looking all .. like it might have been printed by a regional high school industrial art class .. for a now defunct traveling renaissance fair, which left at least one street performer ... standing in fake woods, in front of a wooden barrel, with long wooden tongs in his hands .. randomly yelling out  ... " I got a pickle and you don't ... nanny nanny moo moo".

Sometimes, you save money, but you never think of the guy with renaissance fever who ends up with way, way, way,  too many pickles.

DIY is the ONLY way to go, so you get exactly what you want
Here is a pic (I HOPE) of my aprox 28 cubic foot box......
I used POCKET SCREWS and bought the jig for same.   I have ONLY a simple (cheap) chop saw, a router and assorted hand tools.    Lid is tipped about 10 degrees to SHED WATER and lip overlaps on ALL sides so water Can Not enter.

So did this yesterday- my neighbor was dumping this stand and I quickly grabbed it off him.  I have been wanting to do this for years to throw out the old gasser which I was using only for storage.

LGBE and the Portable Gas Grill on new stand (Dog for Scale)

Full Propane tank inside with my extra stones for storage.  (not shown small propane bottle with burner to light egg).

Modified the back to get the hose from tank to grill

Likely will get a Clip or Strap to clean this up a bit.
