Smoked Mussels question

Hello all,[p]We gettins of smoked mussels, I sometimes wonder whether doing them in the egg would work. Has anyone tried them? If so, please let me know how you went about it? Maybe using a veggie wok over indirect?[p]Cheers,

i steamed them over white wine in the wok. .. put a couple of chunks of wood on the fire, the smoke will still get to them. . .also, cover them with some aluminum foil so that the steam gets to them good. ...strain the sand out of the white wine, and pour it back over the finished mussels. .. good stuff!![p]
