Did some SRF Beef ribs tonight. This is living large. That is my second helping of peach cobbler, which, this year has been one of the best for Peaches in Kentucky, I was told.

Given the origin of this post, I'm going to bet that I'm not the only one who thought "I wonder what would happen if he covered the beef ribs in peaches...?"

    Great post and cook.

HA HA. Yeah, My Beautiful Wife and lovely children gave me heck about it too. Yet they seem to be the first ones to demand peach glaze on everything pork, excluding bacon, it seems.

I did serve with a wine based hunters sauce with A little flour drippings, garlic, onions mushrooms and broth. Turned out really nice with the spicy char crust I put on the beef ribs.

Did a Châteauneuf-du-Pape red blend from the Rhône. Complimented nicely though.

Will be doing a peach butt this weekend though.🙄

Cooked them like you told me to, just like a brisket. Pulled off with a pizza peel, the ribs just fell off. The meat was tender, juicy and it wiggled when thrown into the cutting board. Sliced like butter.

Thank you for the kind words. 202°F IT was spot on and let it rest for 20 minutes, so Zi could collect some drippings for a hunters sauce to go with it.

Thank you sir, Suzy stepped up and did the cobbler. I can’t begin to tell you how good that is, plus she roasted corn using Duke’s, a mix of Parmesan, Asiago and Romano using Chile powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Great meal, nothing left.

I told our friends and the kids in the neighborhood that “Uncle Robin” was on your way, and even set a couple extra places at our table for you. It was pretty good.sorry you missed it.

Next time it will be just as good.

Thank you for the kind words, we were pretty pleased. The peach cobbler was fresh peaches and made by My Beautiful Wife, the real brains of our family. ( she married me, but that don’t count).

    this will be done again.
