My wife and I just got back from our first real trip to New Orleans about a month ago. One of the dishes we fell in love with was BBQ shrimp. Did my best to recreate it on the egg tonight and I was pleasantly surprised how good it turned out. Loosely followed Malcolm Reed’s recipe for this with a few minor alterations.

For anyone interested, here are probably the two most popular recipes for BBQ shrimp on the Gulf Coast. Both are tried and true.
