Help finding pizza stone riser
Options
I have seen a post with a triangular shaped riser to hold a pizza stone above the plate setter and above the felt line. I use a large BGE and the riser needs to securely sit on top of the , legs down, plate setter. I have ceramic spacers but am trying to find a single piece as described.

Wad up 3 pieces of aluminum foil and you will be good to go.XL and Medium. Dallas, Texas.

Plate Setter, legs down. This gets you to almost felt level.
Add a cheap Wok Ring to raise your pizza stone off the plate setter.
Very stable, cheap solution.

That being said you can really use just about anything to raise it up. I just put the plate setter down, the grid, then put something that fits on the grid like a round baking dish. I think we often get hung up thinking it needs to be some kind of "grid" but all the air is flowing around the plate setter so it is just "dead zone" anyway so any flat object that won't melt will work.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
I agree and they last forever! I bought a box of 6 firebricks which are 6x4x1.75 21 years ago for $10. So far I have only used 2 of them and I use them a lot! Not fishing for compliments, but I have purchased at least 4 more boxes over the years and given 2 bricks at a time to new eggers I’ve befriended. I know…call me the BIG spender LOL! But honestly they really are so versatile besides being so cheap!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.
