Firebowl for XL BGE

I recently bought an XL firebowl b/c loved the idea of the divider.  However, after one cook of some burgers at about 400 degrees the divider no longer fits.   It appears the firebowl has warped.  When I push on the divider to get it back in the bottom of the firebowl moves back and forth like because it warped.  I heard from one other person on forum who also had an XL and he stated the bowl warped so much he could not fit it back in to the egg.  I wonder if this is and XL firebowl issue as it larger.  The SS needs to be thicker or of better quality or perhaps the divider needs to be welded in to create additional strength.
