grill light

since it now gets dark much earlier than when we were on daylight savings time, I have found I would like a grill light for my large green egg. Does anybody use one one and if so what do you recommend I buy.

Just got a head band light and it works great. I don't like to haul out more stuff than I need since I have to go down a flight of steps to cook. One hand holds the platter of food, flipper and the other a beer.

There is a LED light at Lowes for about $19 . It is weather proof and hooks to your side ledges. Good luck, Tom

bwallass, I'll even third that. Have two eggs, moves easily between the two or just swivel to use it for both. Lots of light with fresh batteries.

bwallass,[p]do you know if that light can be left outdoors all the time? the description from Lowe's website says it's "water resistant," but i don't know if that means you can leave it outside continually?

Here is a picture of the light. I've had 2 of these lights from Lowes. The first one got water in it within 6 months. Lowes replaced it without questions. The second one has worked fine for the last 2 years. Hopes this helps. Tom

kaiserSoze,[p]mine stays outside, under the patio, sometimes under the Egg table cover, and it has already lasted for TWO WEEKS with no problems.
