The joetisserie has become my favorite accessory. I had my best results yet this past weekend. One chicken with meatchurch gospel, the other with walkerswood jerk paste. I went with a lower temp (320-340) and peach chips and apple chunks.

The jerk store called..... and said nice cook.

How was the jerk paste? I LOVE jerk chicken but I never cook it at home. I like the flavor but not a ton of heat and I'm afraid to order paste's or rubs online. I like spicy and I'm not afraid of heat but I've tried a few jerk rubs that were off the chart hot.

Hmm I have both jerk paste and a chicken in the fridge?

Love me that Walkerswood. Looks great!

Just ordered some. This place causes me to spend too much money. It's been fun though!

Bought a bottle of both mild and regular.

Another milder jerk alternative is a marinade using McCormick Perfect Pinch Caribbean Jerk seasoning. 3Tbsp seasoning, 3 Tbsp vegetable oil, 2Tbsp soy sauce, and 1 Tbsp cider vinegar. Very little heat, but still has that unique jerk flavor.
