Rain water entering my BGE... Need help

All... I've been happily using my Large BGE for years, but ever since I replaced my old-style hinge with the new design, water collects in the bottom of my BGE when it rains. Chimney is completely closed off, lower vent silicon is in good shape which led me to the gasket. The gasket is in good shape and it's one that I purchased from @RRP. When I open the dome, I see no evidence of water inside the dome. I do see streaks of water running down the inside of the base in several places.
Apparently my dome isn't closing tight enough to prevent water from wicking in from the outside, through the gasket and then down into the BGE. With the new style hinge, how best should I adjust it so the dome seals tightly when closed?
Thanks!

If I were in your shoes, I think I’d simply buy a cover. Either that or place the Egg in a covered area, if possible.

It's in a table on our patio, moving it isn't an option. There's a 1/2" gap all the way around between the BGE and the granite top, so a cover might be a possibility if there's one that's waterproof. Thanks for the reply!

Just loosen the top band bolt, push down on the dome and retighten the band. Might need two people.

I hear you brother. The past two February's in East Tennessee have been extremely wet.

Do you have a gasket on the temp gauge stem?
