Joetissorie size

Looking at getting a joetissorie and unsure if I should go for the XL or L size. The distance between rotisserie height and charcoal is greater in the L but space is much bigger on the XL. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on it?

Whenever you have a choice of sizes, always go with extra large. My wife says that’s why she married me.

XL. You can completely move the fire away from the protein, or put it right under. The large does not give you this choice. Just like choosing the egg size, the XL offers more options.

It’s my understanding that the size of the Joetisserie has to correspond to the correct size of the egg.

Large green egg corresponds to large joe.
BGE Large and MiniMax, Napolean 500. Obsessed with rotisserie. -
If you have both sizes of BGE, I would think you should just get both sizes of Joetissorie.

having a large egg, the large joetisserie is the exact size for it. its labeled the classic size. the XL egg is the xl joetisserie and it fits the xl egg. It sits on the gasket. so if you have one size egg get the right size joetisserie. if you have both. doesnt matter. The photos are 5lbs of wings with room for more. The other is a 4 bone full prime rib, ruffly 15 lbs with plenty room for more.Columbus, Ohio
