Every time I go to Malcom Reed and "How to BBQ right" recipes they are winners.  Great cook right there.  Congrats.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
  • Wonderful looking chicky!
Did you use Malcom's Grande Gringo rub?
If so was it very hot?

I don’t have that so I used Spiceology’s Double Smoke rub. It had a little spice to it but my family won’t eat spicy stuff

I have had some success emulating Malcolm and appreciate his YouTube channel. I have not tried any of his rubs... yet.

I may be in the minority here but if I am pleased with a site and using their recipes, I will buy a few of their rubs at least once.  I owe them that.  But remember, I am old and have a lawn.  B)

I really like him and All Things Bbq. I’ve bought a lot of Malcom’s rubs and have a 5 pound bag of The Bbq Rub on spice rack. I like it for big cooks and pulled pork.
