My Father in law has been diagnosed with cancer and is getting his first chemo treatment today. So last night I cooked him a last meal of sorts.  Knowing that many chemo patients lose most of their ability to taste, I wanted to really blow him away. He requested lobster.

Steamed a couple monster lobsters 2.5lb each.

I sous vide a prime filet at 138 and seared on cast iron

I also steamed a tail to add to my lobster ravioli (sams club). I made a homemade Alfredo sauce and took the shell from the tail and boiled it down to a quarter cup or so of liquid and added that broth to the sauce infusing it with lobster flavor. And cut up the tail and added some to each serving.

And we made some zucchini noodles!

F-ck cancer.  Great move right there.  Definitely incentive enough to wrap up the chemo and request a "do-over" down range.
