Well I have been wanting a Mini or Mini Max for a long time now and this weekend someone put up a Mini on Facebook Marketplace for $225. That's a little over 40% and no tax. I know it wont be under warranty, but it was brand new never used and thought it was a good deal. Hope to break it in soon.

The mini is one of my favorites to cook on - you did good! Don't let it fool you, it'll crank out some grub. I was able to do a whole spatchcocked chicken on mine one time. A regular brat, steak and burger machine as well. Please share your cooks!

Just a little bit of advice on indirect cooks. The protein is very close to the PS/stone and the bottom will burn from the extreme heat that the ceramic builds up. I generally run about 300 max for indirect. Sounds odd but because your also so close to the dome the convection heat will offset the cooktime from lower heat.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini.
