Not sure why I signed up for this since they don't ship to Alaska, but if I receive a notification I'll try to make a point of posting it here unless someone else beats me to it. I imagine the cost will likely be out of my league even if they did ship up my way. Still, I have to admit I am curious.

I signed up some weeks ago out of morbid curiosity. The A5 Wagyu brisket flat goes for $750, so I'm sure the whole packer will be over $1k. I've had A4 ribeye and striploin, and while tasty, it's just too rich for my palate. It's like eating meat flavored butter. It's "Smokin Gal", not "Smoking Al".
Egging in the Atlanta GA region
Large BGE, CGS setup, Kick Ash Basket, Smokeware SS Cap,

$750 worth of hamburger meat. 100% Wagyu briskets are no bueno for Barbecue. Too fatty to render and all the fat kills the beefy flavor. Snake river farms has it right. 50/50 wagyu/ black angus.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

I hadn't considered the point about the fat, @The Cen-Tex Smoker . And $1K is probably not too far off the mark, @smokingal . I didn't realize that is what the flats were going for. Sheesh. I would say 'morbid curiosity' probably sums it up just about right for me, too.LG BGE, KJ Jr, Smokin Bros. Premier 36 and Pizza Party Bollore

Okay. Just by way of follow up (I know there have been other posts),
It looks like $1,440 can buy a 32 lb. genuine Wagyu Full Packer Brisket:

I ordered about 4 lbs of A5 rib cap about a month or so ago from these guys. $158 and that's as high as i'm going. Will have to pass on the brisket...Wetumpka, Alabama

Paging @smokingal .
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
Just now seeing @lousubcap page. Anyone who is interested in purchasing one of these should hold off. It's "Smokin Gal", not "Smoking Al".

For the record @smokingal @lousubcap I, for one, have absolutely zero interest in paying anything close to this much for a brisket. It's just more of a conversation piece, or a wow factor, than anything else.LG BGE, KJ Jr, Smokin Bros. Premier 36 and Pizza Party Bollore
