RIP MAD Magazine

Sad to hear that MAD is ceasing publication of its newstand mag.
It's not completely dead but it is on a ventilator and will only be publishing new material in an annual end of year issue.
Maybe the last time we see Guy Fieri as Willy Wonka... :(

Very sad news. Mad showed up for me in that very important period just after Spiderman comics and before National Lampoon mag. An important step on a cynical, questioning, comedic journey. (There may also have been some Playboys in the back of my dad’s closet in that era — and it wasn’t just about the articles!)It's a 302 thing . . .
