Just a thank you to all the a-holes here

I joined several other groups recently in an attempt to find another outlook for better cooking/grilling/smoking/pickling/preserving/processing..eating, there isn't one.

This isn't flattery. This is true. You people are exceptional. Thank you for your guidance.

I've been a member here for a couple years and in that time I have learned so, so much from you. I have spent so, so much money because of you. I have made so, so many amazing foods, on EGG and off because of you. I've bonded with my sons (13&16) while cooking because for you. You a-holes made me a better Dad. Thank you for that.

Thank you for being here every day.

This a-hole says I've learned a lot from this forum, I concur.  As importantly, I've learned much about what I needed to un-learn from years of dad's bbq with lighter fluid, etc.
    Thank you, sir.

For so long I thought grilling was a roaring fire fueled by kingsford charcoal and their light fluid. I can smell that sh!t. I fell in love with REAL smoke, barbecue, food whenI was in the USMC stationed in the Carolinas.

I never knew how to replicate that, util I found you. Thank you.

I have appreciated so, so much about this forum. After exploring others, I know this is more than the best.

A little on the sappy side, but I’ve never thought of hunting Buffalo until I came here.

That’s just one of the many things I’ve learned.

I also appreciate having a group you can reach out to when traveling for either personal or business reasons, get together, and have a reasonably high expectation of not being cut into small pieces and thrown into a washing machine.

Look, I know you’re all having fun cutting up and all, but all this shjtposting is really bringing this forum down.  All the OT posts, pornography, implied pornography, people thinking about pornography while posting, political posts, basketball posts, people posting while watching basketball, it’s all distracting to those that just want a pure food/bbq site.  Other forums laugh at us.  It’s just embarrassing.

    ciao.

FWIW, I started weighing myself before and after bowel movements.   It's given me a much greater appreciation of me.

This place used to be a lot more friendlier.

Can we get a list of those other forums where people are devoting precious keystrokes to laugh at us?  Like Sargent/Uncle Hulka said to Francis, they need to lighten up.  Suggest we impanel a delegation of our most distinguished A-holes to send over there to help them find the optimum balance of food/cook posts with porn (express/implied), political, basketball, COOLERS, etc.  Let's hear some nominations, people!

Edit: Apparently it's been turned into a Facebook group now and no longer a website.  But I'm sure it's loads of fun.

I’m not sure “jerkoff” is a term we should keep tossing around lightly given the Robert Kraft news today.
