After years of trying Indian recipes that lacked flavour, I’ve finally found a butter chicken recipe that I’m happy with. By far the most successful I’ve made, and easy to boot!
This one call for the Instant Pot, but you could just as easily cook in a Dutch oven.

Thanks for sharing, @HeavyG. Given how good the butter chicken is, I am now very inclined to seek out her other recipes and to buy her cookbook.

Book now ordered. If the other recipes are half as good as the butter chicken, I’ll be satisfied.

Her website has some good recipes on it. I found it when looking for IP recipes, and used a couple of her Ethiopian recipes, which turned out well.
If you’re up for it, grill or smoke the chix before adding to the sauce to finish cooking. Sort of par cook the chix. That’s how butter chicken is supposed to be made, and it will really amp up the flavors.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
@caliking: Great idea. Will give this a try. Thanks.

That’s a legit recipe. I put about half the tumeric.____________________Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. •Niccolo Machiavelli
