Pot Roast

Weather has been crummy and seemed like a good meal to start the week.  Both kids and my wife have the crud on top of it.

Little smoke on the 2lb chuck


Potatoes, carrots, onion, garlic, and mushrooms take a bath with the roast.  Roast was on for smoke for about 45 min and then seared in the Dutch oven on the range.  Rolled most the afternoon around 300, lid on.


Decided rolls would go well, pulled out my grandmas potato roll recipe and had some help from the 5yo.  This was before final proof getting a coat of butter.
