long long week preparing for a Murder trial, covering the child abuse unit, while enduring the mosquito explosion keeping me indoors 

good thing I have the BBQ Guru Cyber Q so I can watch from the easy chair.

    Oh and as you can see the brisket was poorly cut by the butcher and is much thinner than I would like.   Upside after I trimmed it is a fairly uniform thickness, so it should cook very even

    It all looks great.  As for the mosquitoes, try this.  It works.  We now live in Louisiana but we are very familiar with Texas mosquitoes.  We haven't had a mosquito problem since we hung our Spartan  Mosquito Eradicators up two months ago.  We have an Egghead friend in Corpus Christi who recently bought some.  His BGE handle is Frank from Houma.  Yes, he moved to Corpus from Houma, Louisiiana.  Decided to stay.  I think he posts here now and then.  Here's the link:
