As an Arizona State alum, this is a proud moment for me. U OF A, the cross state rival to ASU has a rich basketball tradition and i dont think any of the many u of a players who played in the nba wound up with mvp honors.

JH is a class act, is fun to watch and Hes a SUN DEVIL man!

@westernbbq , what in the world are they doing at ASU? Got news they are bulldozing the Karsten Course on campus to make room for more housing. I really enjoyed that course each time I played it. Do you know what the plans are for a new one?

I was at ASU from 87 thru 92....and there was this good looking dude always surrounded by gorgeous gals. I asked my buddy who that was and why the babes were always around him. He told me that as soon as he got out of school he would be an instant millionaire. I asked how? He said by playing golf. Much to my stupidity and ignorance, i said golfers dont make money! It was Phil Mickelson.....

Anyway, ASU is doing some incredible things. KARSTEN will be part of an olympic training center and Sun Devil Stadium will be used all year. ROLLING HILLS, which is 2 miles west of campus is ASUs new golf course. Its a stone throw away from phoenix muni and has spectacular views of the buttes in papago park, camelback mountain and downtown phoenix....phx muni is where the devils play baseball now. We can get beer at college games so this is better than the old packard stadium Oh sun devil stadium also has a beer garden so thats pretty cool

Come on out and i know a few folks wholl get you on the course. Wait til its cooler though.. A buck ten today was a bit crispy to be on the course.....tailgate season is two months away!

Harden was great this season, but voter fatigue is the only reason LeBron doesn't win this award. And yes, he's better than Jordan.

And he is from Springfield IL. Crazy he and Livingston are both from the same area and both play for the warriors.

Jordan was a shooter. Skin and Bones. Lebron is like an NFL Defensive End or Tight End that can do almost everything really well. I loved Jordan growing up but I think if he was in the league today his numbers while still great would be a lot lower. Lebron better? I won't say that necessarily but I think 1 on 1 Lebron makes Jordan look like Spud Webb Scottie Pippen. Jordan wasn't a hugely physical player and that's what makes Lebron so good. He can manhandle you then shoot 3's all day. Cleveland lost because he was carrying the whole team. While Golden State was filled with about 3-4 maybe even 5 Future Hall of Famers all as starters.

I honestly don't know. They both played in vastly different eras. I'm not denying Jordan wasn't amazing. He was every guy my age's idol, Him, Wayne Gretzky, Joe Montana, all of them we thought were the best ever because we idolized them. I will say this. The league now is penalty obsessed. Whereas back when Jordan played you could get away with a lot more.

I'm not a LJ hater by no means. I enjoy watching him play. However, Jordan had a killer instinct and carried that always, not just in one or two games. MJ's intensity was so much more. Even when the Dream Team was together and he played amongst the elite of his era, it was known, MJ was the one.

Now, while I agree that the times are changed and honestly, they play two different positions and are sized differently.

At the end of the day, if it came down to one guy to have the ball in his hands to make a play, I would want it in MJ's hands.

I won't argue this point at all. Jordan was Mr. Clutch all the way. I do think if he played with the same cast James has had for most of his career that Jordan would have had fewer opportunities to show how clutch he is in the finals.
