Howdy! Posting some pictures of my old XL in new Challenger Designs Spark 54. I hesitated to order one of these because they are rarely discussed and few pictures seem to exist out there (at least as far as I could find).
I wanted a table/cart that's not wood, not shiny stainless, and not four figures in price. This is the only option I've found. It's pretty light until you put the egg in place, then all seems fine.
Purchased from Premier Grilling in Carrolton Tx (first transaction with them, Drew in shipping was great to deal with), and shipped all the way to Lake Ontario.
Egg is sitting directly on the frame. If it melts, I'll let you know.
Hope this helps anyone else investigating these.

Are the casters adjustable? I need to put my table on a surface that isn't level.

Sorry, @StPeteRob, missed this question, but yes you can adjust each caster. Each one threads into the table base, so you could put washers or a stop nut in there and get whatever you like. On the casters, the threaded rod is at least 1.5" long, so there's a good bit of available adjustment.

As promised, here are the results of my experiment with the egg sitting directly on the table, no spacer or heat shield.
Upon disassembly and inspection, I can't see any damage to the table or its coating from the past 11 months of running this way, including some very hot cooks.
There is a little black stuff on the finish, but I think it's the same as some black splotches I have on the top. I don't know what it is, but it doesn't come off with water and I haven't tried anything more harsh.
