BGE TLC and upgrade day

after 5 hard faught years my OEM gasket in what i assume was an act of protest detached itself last week so I knew my time table for TLC just got more real  

installed a new gasket this morning that I got on amazon as I have a spare BGE one also in case something goes wrong. 

Also after reading about fire risks thought it’s about time I got a table next rather than my two paver stones in a wood table. 

Installed my warranty replacement fire ring that I discovered in a miss placed moving box as my original had cracked in a few spots

Lastly, after a good cleaning I noticed my oem grate was cracked and my local store had a KAB SS in stock so I grabbed that to add to the egg. 

Looking forward to my first cook tomorrow (wings) after the seal is set.
