Tried a bag yesterday. Not bad at all! Some very large pieces, a little sparky lighting off ( but so does RO ), very controllable burn, long lasting and half the price of RO?.......Yeh, I'm in!!

Well popped and crackled lots when starting. cooked okay and no noticeable taste...
When I got done I opened her wide open throttle...got super hot temp gage wrapped around. Fire and flames when I opened it up.

Update...
After letting the game hens rest for about 30 min there was a strong smoke flavor. My first thought was I cooked a brisket yesterday so maybe the egg still had something left but I cleaned it prior to this cook.
I'm wondering what kind of wood it is...thinking hickory.
Hopefully someone else will chime in.
